Launched on March 1 at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Aston Marin will be the first company to officially unveil the DB11 on Wednesday (March 9) in Dubai – mere eight days after its global launch.

The car, which is expected to replace previous DB9, incorporates the trademark grille upfront with the headlights similar to the DB10 car used in the James Bond movie ‘Spectre’.

The car will also have gill-like vents in the wheel arches, derived from the Vulcan, and a new virtual spoiler called the AeroBlade, supplemented by subtle air intakes mounted at the base of the C-pillars.

The DB11 houses a twin-turbo 5.2-litre V12 that pumps out 600 horse power (HP) and 700 newton metre (Nm) of torque. It will accelerate from 0-100 kilometer per hour (kph) in 3.9 seconds, before hitting the limiter at 322 kph.

It has a new 12-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch infotainment display that is controlled by a rotary control, or an optional touchpad. It will also have a 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system, glossy black roof, ventilated seats, powered armrest, and power seat bolsters. Cargo capacity has also been increased by 20 per cent compared to DB9.

Though the price has not been disclosed for the UAE market, the starting price the United is $211,995 (Dh778,021).
